LMS Students Advance to Region Technology Competition

Lakeview Middle School had 5 students enter this years first Catoosa County Schools District Technology Competition. These 5 students participated in three project categories and all of them placed first in their age division and will advance to the Northwest Georgia region competition that will be held in January.  Students participating were Makayla Ware, in the 7/8 Multimedia Applications division; Cameron Prince and Kloe Osborne in the 5/6 Animation division; and Breanna Whitaker and Trey Ware in the 7/8 Internet Applications Division.  These students are also members and officers of the LMS Future Business Leaders of America and their projects work together to promote student leadership in the area of encouraging students to lead and promote positive encounters using social media. Their plan is to continue with these projects and enter them in FBLA competitions in the coming weeks.
